Eyebrows have a natural shape but this shape can be tweaked to create a dramatic line. There are different techniques you can use for shaping your eyebrows. Either you can attempt to do it yourself or seek professional help. Here are the main techniques.
Tweezing
Tweezers remove the hairs from the brow one by one, meaning precise shaping can be achieved. However it is a little painful at first and there is a risk of over tweezing. Remember that eyebrow hair does not grow back that quickly so try and look in the mirror often. Only tweeze hairs out from under the eyebrow rather than above. Also try and decide on the shape you want them to be (i.e. thicker in the middle and thinner at the end).
Threading
Threading has been used in Asian and Middle-Eastern countries for decades. It consists in tying a piece of thread around an eyebrow hair and plucking it out. Unlike tweezing, it targets the hair below and above the brow. It does require quite a lot of skill and I would recommend going to a professional.
Pencil
Pencil is very useful to correct little mistakes if you've over tweezed. Some people only use pencil as their eyebrows have trouble growing back. Try and use a pencil in the same shade as your natural eyebrow colour.
